MEDIUM: Fabric and paper arts.
 
I create one of a kind handbags from antique paper ephemera and fine art papers. I collage all of the elements onto fine art paper and place the elements between clear vinyl panels. The designs are then embellished with intricate top stitching in gold thread and trimmed with gold ribbon. I line each purse with fine silks and cottons.My studio is in the Nashawena Mills, a turn of the century textile mill building, in New Bedford, MA. I am a self-trained seamstress.
